This is a variable pressure relief valve, sometimes referred to as a "Bunging" or "Spunding" valve, traditionally used for controlled carbonation of products over time. Its operating range is 0.2 - 2.2 bar (2.9 - 30.9 PSI) however it is not recommended for use beyond the pressure rating of the vessel.
